There is no reason a wreath on your front door has to be limited to Christmas but it is the time of year we see many beautiful examples coming out. I started creating my own holiday wreaths a couple of years ago and they are mostly hit and miss but I love the process. I have had my morning at Colombia Rd Flower market and am stocked and ready to start…It always begins in my head as a perfectly balanced mix of greens and hardy heather but in reality, I do use whatever sticks and hope for the best. These stunning examples are a great source of inspiration, sadly not mine, but I can dream!

Starting with this one from Ava Flora & Cadence Kennedy found through stylemepretty.com

This pretty one from PapernStitchblog.com with help from Petal + Fold uses fresh flowers with tips on how to make them last…

This is so elegant, from 100layercake.com

And if you are looking for a classic contemporary wreath, with less traditional foliage (including air plants), then take a look at this gorgeous one on camillestyles.com done with the Bricolage Floral Studio . Perhaps more indoor wreath than outdoor. We just wish we were closer to Austin in order to attend the workshop …

Its all in the detailing as we keep saying so couldn’t resist this … pine needle tassels

We would love to see anything you create! Taline & Victoria
