He is the all American architect with a lot of style and tradition mixed into his designs, the idea of home and what it means being the centre of it all. There is certainly a personalised touch in all his work and the polish of his style is soften by this. He attributes success to his peripatetic childhood and his exposure to different homes and experiences along the way. He believes that a house that makes you feel ‘happy, welcome and secure is a success’ and I have to agree – no matter how lavish, big or small the house, this is essential!
